I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding CPR/AED and First Aid training session led by Ms. Tricia Perkins yesterday at the Sam Nunn Federal Building for the staff of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Ms. Perkins demonstrated exceptional professionalism, depth of knowledge, and a clear passion for her work, which created an engaging, effective, and highly impactful learning environment. Her ability to communicate life-saving procedures with clarity and enthusiasm made the session both informative and empowering for all participants.
Thanks to her expert instruction, I—along with many of my colleagues—now feel significantly more prepared to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing, and other first aid emergencies. Ms. Perkins skillfully conveyed the importance of providing immediate care to someone who is suddenly ill or injured, emphasizing the critical role we can play until advanced medical personnel arrive. What made the session especially memorable was Ms. Perkins’ ability to transform a serious and technical subject into an accessible and even enjoyable experience. Her dynamic teaching style, combined with her encouraging approach, helped participants of all backgrounds feel confident in their ability to act when it matters most.
Because of her guidance, I now feel ready to assist in emergency situations at work, at home, or in the community. That sense of preparedness is invaluable, and I fully credit Ms. Perkins’ dedication and thoughtful instruction for making that possible. Please extend my sincere thanks to Ms. Perkins for the exceptional quality of her training and the positive impact she had on our team. I will enthusiastically recommend this course to others—especially if it is being led by Ms. Perkins.

I have spent about 13 years in the Behavioral Health sector so, as you may imagine, I have attended a few CPR/First Aid trainings... I was taken aback by the level of curricula I encountered with our trainer, a former EMT/Paramedic, Chad Lusche. He was hugely informative, engaging, and thorough. I learned new information that I had never learned in the past 13 years of trainings. As he is someone who has worked in the field, he was able to give us real life examples of what we may encounter with our clients and patients. He even explained what it should *feel like* to do REAL CPR and what common mistakes to look out for. I am more confident after having taken his class than I ever have before. I am grateful I was able to learn from this experienced educator and first responder...

I’ve taken many CPR classes over the years, and this was by far the best one yet. Chad was our instructor, and he was incredibly detailed, thorough, and engaging throughout the entire class. He explained everything clearly and shared so much information that I hadn’t learned in previous courses. I walked away feeling confident and well-prepared. Daniel is an amazing ACLS instructor. I took his class on 12/28 and really appreciated how clearly he explained everything. He encouraged questions and kept the class engaging. The phlebotomy class that I attended was not as bad as I have thought. It was a very sped up class, but because of the phlebotomy instructor, I was able to pass without a sweat. It was informative and covers inside information that would save trouble from occurring. I recommend the phlebotomy class as it was fantastic to learn with educated individuals.

I attended the class along with several other drivers and aides. I must say that the instructor we had went above and beyond expectations. Myself and others were hanging on every word and the time flew by quickly. As CDL drivers, we need to take this course every two years to stay certified. While I have enjoyed several classes in my time with the school district, I must say that Mike takes the cake!

It was great to be able to do the initial review/refresher online, then do a quick "hands on" at the in-person session. The instructor was direct and informative, getting right to the demonstrations and keeping it educational, yet interesting.

This is my third time renewing my CPR certification with Above Bar (now Lifework) and I highly recommend it. Tim is knowledgeable and experienced and provides a hands-on class that is straightforward, thorough, and enjoyable. CPR logistics like compression rates and depths and breath ratios seem to change frequently and can get overwhelming and intimidating, but Tim’s instruction gives you a sense of confidence by the time you leave. There is also good quality practice materials and AED, narcan prop, and male/ female/ pediatric cpr dummies. Good value and use of time. See you in 2 years!

This is a POSITIVE review of our recent certification. My husband and I attended the Red Cross training course on 8/14/25 for Adult/Child CPR/AED in Houston, TX. The instructor was attentive and helpful in instructing us on this important topic. He was also respectful and kind which is much appreciated. He reflects a professionalism which is getting rare these days. Thank you for saving lives by providing these classes and providing excellent pros as instructors!
