Career Training Programs at Lifework Education
Assisted Living Caregiver
Assisted living caregivers aid residents in nursing homes or other community centers. Our training centers around how to properly assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), chores and medication management.
Assisted Living Manager
As an assisted living manager, you will oversee operations at an assisted living facility. We will teach you how to create policies for proper patient care, comply with federal and state regulations and implement best management practices for your employees.
Cardiographic (EKG) Technician
A cardiographic (EKG) technician is equipped to perform heart monitoring tests on electrocardiograms. Our hands-on program provides training from industry professionals to prepare you for real-world scenarios.
Certified/Licensed Nursing Assistant
Certified nursing assistants (CNAs) are responsible for helping individuals under nursing care with ADLs or med-based practices within their scope. Lifework Education's CNA program gets you started with essential skill training for a full spectrum of patient care.
CNA to Caregiver Bridge
Licensed CNAs can transition into an assisted living caregiver position through our bridge program. Because CNAs have similar base training, anyone with this background can fast-track their way to a caregiver position with this opportunity.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) are important healthcare professionals who provide life-sustaining care in critical situations. Our EMT program is a comprehensive 12-week course that covers anatomy and physiology, as well as lifesaving techniques like CPR, splinting and bandaging.
Phlebotomy Technician
Phlebotomy technicians typically work in healthcare labs to collect blood and send the samples for testing. This phlebotomy program includes several areas of study to prepare you for this position, including medical terminology, sample handling, blood draw techniques, infection control and the circulatory system.
