Full Job Description
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure an efficient and productive environment for the seamless delivery of our educational programs.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Communicate with prospective students (customers), current students, graduates, partnering agency representatives, vendors, and general public through a variety of media including answering majority of the incoming phone calls, emails, website chat interface, social media and more.
Assist with sales and marketing of the programs as needed.
Update and monitor schedule of classroom availability.
Assist with scheduling of instructors and skills proctors for offered courses as needed.
Receive and distribute incoming mail and sending outgoing mail.
Process class activity information to a variety of agencies (American Heart Association, National Association of EMT's, AZ DHS, American Red Cross, and more) including emailing certification cards, filing and organizing rosters.
Assist with orientations and Day 1 of programs as newly enrolled students begin their courses.
Assist with keeping the school clean, stocked and organized.
Regular reporting to the Manager and Director on business needs/concerns.
Assist with other operational tasks as needed as well as represent company at occasional table events/conferences promoting our programs.
MUST have minimum 2-3 years prior office administrative/receptionist experience.
MUST have strong phone skills with a friendly, confident, clear phone voice.
MUST be able to work quickly and efficiently with a variety of technology (email, phone, social media, etc.)
MUST have exceptional customer service and professional communication skills.
MUST have excellent skills in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
MUST have a strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through on tasks.
MUST be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
MUST be able to deliver consistent, superior performance and achieve goals.
MUST have positive attitude and outgoing personality.
