CPR Certification

CPR certifications offer training on life-saving CPR techniques and AED usage. We will teach participants critical skills to respond to sudden cardiac arrest emergencies until emergency medical services (EMS) can reach the scene. Healthcare professionals, lifeguards, teachers and anyone who wants to learn CPR can benefit from this course. Lifework Education also offers Spanish CPR classes in Washington.

BLS Certification

The basic life support (BLS) certification course is essential to teach CPR, AED usage and first aid techniques. We will walk you through recognizing these emergencies, providing quality chest compressions and delivering appropriate ventilation. BLS training in Washington covers these techniques for adults, children and infants.

ACLS Certification

Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications train healthcare professionals on more complex aspects of CPR care. ACLS courses take a step further than BLS techniques, stressing the importance of team dynamics, communication, systems of care, airway management and related pharmacology. We can provide initial and certification renewal classes.

PALS Certification

Like with ACLS certifications, pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certification courses enhance the basics of CPR taught in BLS classes. Specifically, PALS focuses on proper CPR and care for children and infants. This course will teach participants how to identify and treat pediatric patients in pre-arrest conditions and perform resuscitation based on their expected level of care.

Group Training Services

If your whole team needs to be certified at once, Lifework Education can help. We have group training services in Washington for first aid classes, CPR and AED usage. Virtual Training Options

Lifework Education offers virtual training if your workplace does not require in-person training. Our online courses are taught through the American Red Cross™ and the American Heart Association™ and provide flexibility and convenience for participants.

Approvals

Lifework is proud to offer our proprietary CPR and First Aid certification courses. We are also a national partner and Licensed Training Provider with the American Red Cross (ARC), and operate several American Heart Association (AHA) and Health and Safety Institute (HSI) Training Centers. All resuscitation courses follow the guidelines published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).

We offer several professional training programs, including EMT, CNA, Caregiver, and phlebotomy, all of which are approved by the relevant state agencies. Currently, only the paramedic program is included under the ABHES grant of accreditation.

Lifework’s paramedic program is accredited by CAAHEP under the recommendation of CoAEMSP  and institutionally accredited in Peoria, Arizona, by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
