First Aid Training

Accidents and medical emergencies can happen at any time to anyone — no matter where they are. Basic first aid training teaches non-medical professionals how to quickly identify and respond to common emergencies, such as cuts or burns, broken bones and weather-related illnesses. It gives trainees the skills and confidence to care for someone in crisis until emergency personnel arrive.

Comprehensive first aid training is valuable because it empowers people within workplaces and communities to protect victims from further harm. In some cases, it can save lives.

Whether you're interested in learning first aid to have peace of mind, or you're an employer looking to promote a safer workplace, we can help. At Lifework Education, we are an authorized training center for the American Heart Association (AHA) and a licensed training provider for the American Red Cross (ARC). We're qualified and equipped to offer comprehensive first aid courses from the AHA and ARC.

First Aid Safety and Training Your Way

If you prefer the convenience of online first aid training or value a hands-on experience, we can accommodate you either way. We provide first aid training in the following formats:

Virtual

We offer a 100% virtual first aid course to individuals or groups nationwide. Visit our site to enroll, and select a date and time that's convenient for you.

On-site

If your organization has more than eight members needing first aid training, our highly trained instructors can come to you. We deliver hands-on, engaging and memorable group training to give your team the confidence to provide life-saving skills.

Hybrid

For those who want the best of both worlds, we offer a blended learning approach. Our hybrid format integrates self-paced online modules with in-person sessions, providing both flexibility and practical experience.

Enhance Your First Aid Skills With Additional Training

First aid training can be augmented by CPR and AED training with the First Aid/CPR/AED course from the ARC. We also offer AHA First Aid/CPR/AED training. Learn how to perform life-saving CPR techniques and use an automated external defibrillator, in addition to learning first aid basics.

First Aid and CPR Certification and Recertification

At the end of First Aid/CPR/AED training, you'll receive a valid certification card or can renew your certification. Regardless of your chosen training format, including our fully virtual options, this training can help you meet workplace CPR certification or recertification requirements. That said, CPR certification can benefit anyone who wants to learn life-saving skills or enhance their resume.
